If you ever wanted to learn how to fly, now is your chance. Just hop in and fly with the Scott Aero Club/Flight Training Center (ACFTC). Located on the east side of the base, just off South Drive in Building 3183, the ACFTC offers aviators the opportunity to see what the area has to offer from the pilot's point of view. The Club's fleet includes: two Cessna 152 trainer 2-seaters, a Piper Warrior, two Cessna 172's, and a Piper twin engine Seminole, all 4-seaters. All these airCrafts are available for both local and cross-country flights. TDY usage is also authorized. The club has 9 instructors and over 150 members. The Club's flight school offers courses ranging from private pilot license to airline transport ratings. A computerized simulator is also available for training or for keeping up your flight proficiency. Already a pro?
